Okay so we have not come to that point yet, but take a look at two Canadian animated shorts up for Oscars. Which film do you prefer?
NFB garnered its 71st and 72nd Oscar-nominated film with Sunday by Patrick Doyon, and Wild Life, by Amanda Forbis and Wendy Tilby. Congratulations!

Clé de Soul
Until November 26 the ultra trendy Galerie LJ is hosting 'Clé de Soul' a show featuring works (paintings & more) by visual artist Supakitch. Originally from Montpellier, this Brooklyn resident is a multi-faceted artist who creates music for the eye ("musique pour les yeux") with his paintbrush or a spray can. We love his intricate use of hues and the universe he creates with each piece.
For more info on the artist, visit his official page and while you're at it, check out METROPLASTIQUE, the project him and his wife graffiti artist Koralie have developed.

Sweet Beginnings
Two weeks ago we had the privilege of attending the opening launch of the first J.Crew store in Canada. Forever fans of the brand we welcomed their effortless style, classic combinations and playful palette to the True North. If you cannot make it to Toronto's Yorkdale Shopping Centre and visit the 5,000+ square foot boutique here is a sneak peak...Bon Shopping!
P.S: They are soon opening an UK and EU online commerce site.

Can't Get Enough
One thing that is amazing about Londontown is the endless amount of exhibitions, degree and end of year shows -- I just can't seem to get enough. From the University of Arts London to the Royal College of Arts and a plethora of others the creativity is awe inspiring. Recently I have been attending Free Range highly recommended. It is a showcase of graduating fine art, fashion, photography, architecture and design students from around England.

Yeah!
After much anticipation, I recently made my way to Liberty's London where I had the privileged of attending the UK book launch of DECORATE by none other than Decor8's Holly Becker and co-author Joanna Copestick. Having followed her blog for much time, I was delighted and eagerly awaited its arrival. This poignant book opens doors into some of the world's most stylish homes photographed by talented Debi Treloar. The aesthetically pleasing book, melds the casualness of blog with the tone of an American author and a British voice infused by Jacqui Small Publishers. All together it is a must see and read.
Wish you could have been there? Check out this video.

Pretty in Pink
This week in New York is going great! If only there was the chance to stay at the Plaza Hotel's Eloise Suite decorated by the fabulous Betsey Johnson. With more than enough room to do a couple of cartwheels, the room is decorated in her playful style that blends luxury and whimsy for a charmingly original result.
Can't complain though...
P.S: Stay tuned for our upcoming posts live and direct from New York Fashion's Week.
