Archetypes is a series of posters designed by Tres Tipos Gráficos with Manuel Sesma. By superimposing the lowercase letters layer upon layer a unique and characteristic blueprint is obtained in each composition, like a rendering of the font's essential shape and character. All the posters are 13,5" x 18,5". They are two-color printed
(black and pantone 3125) on a 240-gram Munken Lynx.

Yummy Yoobi

Yoobi Sushi will be a new Japanese hand crafted seafood experience based in Soho, London serving temaki rolls and fresh sushi, eaten by hand from a cone in a restaurant. Can't wait... but in the meantime, I will venture Lexington Street in Soho for an afternoon of fishing. A bit confused? The name is derived from the word 'yubi' the Japanese word for fingers. The visual perfectly captures the essence of a brand which was inspired by trips to Rio, Tokyo and London. Our remit covers all aspects of the brand as it grows from packaging and menu displays to website and in-store signage. - ico design

 

Judge a Book by Its Cover

Baking never looked as yummy and perfect as in this IKEA cookbook. The furniture giant teamed up with swedish agenscy Forsman & Bodenfors and photographer Carl Kleiner for 'Homemade is best' a 140 page coffee-table style cookbook. And we're swoon!

Covergirl: Beyoncé

Photographer Thierry Le Goues and visual artist Ebon Heath teamed up for this stunning for Beyoncé's cover and feature story in Complex Magazine. Of the gazillions covers (and pictures) of the songstress we've been bombarded with since her album, '4', dropped, this has to be one of the most creative & sophisticated.
We approve.

Types of Cities

Growing up, I had an obssession for EF International Language Centers. The brochures, the cheesy smiles, the blue backpacks with the white logo, it all look so exciting!
And after seeing these new series of typographic logotypes by Swedish graphic designer Albin Holmqvist, I can officially  say that my obsession is back. EF  recently commissioned Holmqvist to create a set of 40 cities typographic logotypes for each of the cities where they operate. We approve.
