To mark the one-year anniversary of Barack Obama's election Taschen invites you to the launch of Design for Obama. Posters for change. A Grassroots Anthology, a collection of some of the most interesting imagery designed in support of Obama's race to the White House.
Spike Lee one of the two curators of the of the book (with Aaron Perry-Zucker)will be present.

Creative Persuasion

During the US of A election season a plethora of independent, political posters, both serious and satirical, for or against, have invaded this election season.
AIGA hosted a Get Out the Vote 2008 campaign, aiming to increase voter participation. Best of all, you can print your favs for free! More posters can be found via Ebony Magazine.

Note: I tried my best to find well-designed McCain and independent posters. I really did. But alas, no luck.
